This week we looked at the short but beautiful and profound Psalm 15. In it David asks the question: "O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill?" The question digs into the desire of knowing God and residing with him for eternity. The Lord answers David that it is the pure of heart. We were reminded that our hearts are not pure - but Christ has given us new hearts, and renews them daily.
Take some time this week and reflect on your desires - are there areas where your desires are inordinate or out of line with what the Lord calls you to?
Christ gave up his life in love for you - are there ways in which Christ is calling you to love your neighbor in a costly manner?
What does it look like for you to prefer the good of your neighbor?
