Hospitality
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. • Hebrews 13:2
Read: Hebrews 13:1-18 This favorite little verse reminds us of the utter importance of hospitality. It is most likely that the author of Hebrews had in mind the story of Abraham showing hospitality to God’s angels and to the Lord Himself. One of the critical things for a church to do is to show hospitality, first and foremost on Sunday mornings, but throughout our weekly lives. Part of our need to address our growth and providing more parking and space in our sanctuary is so that we can show hospitality well.
1. Are there ways that you can grow in showing hospitality? 2. Pray that we might find a solution so that we can show hospitality on Sundays and throughout the week at our church.
