God's Good Purpose

This past Sunday, Fr. Ian reviewed what we had learned in Genesis, above all else we saw how, even amidst our own inclination to sin and wickedness, God uses these situations for good. Sometimes it take a week, years, a life time, even generations. Yet, we remember that ultimately our hope is that one day we will experience the fullness of God's goodness.

  1. We were reminded of the tension between God's good purpose and our sinfulness. Have there been times and places where you've seen God take what seems to be an impossible situation, and redeem it?

  2. What are some ways that God's redemptive work in Genesis, now, and in the future is encouraging to you today?

  3. What are some things you can remember in your pit about God's redemptive work?
