Moses's faith led him to leave the comforts of royality behind to walk with the living God.
The Author of Hebrews doesn't focus on the giving of the Law, but Moses's faith as he leaves behind his place in the royal court.

Text: Hebrews 11:23-28

In this sermon, we look at the life of Moses and see that by expecting something far better, he rejected worldliness and fear. We are reminded how worldliness and fear are profoundly powerful driving factors. What the author shows us through the life of Moses is how, when faith is rightly ordered based on what God has done and is doing, fear and worldliness lose their draw.

We are also reminded of how leaving the things of the world behind —that is, the temptations that often draw us in —can be dreadfully difficult. However, the author recognizes that Moses saw something compelling and was therefore willing to leave behind the world he knew because he had met the living God.
