Sin is death

This past Sunday we looked at the beheading of John the Baptist. This is a strange passage as Mark turns his focus away from Jesus and his works and focus strictly on Herod and the death of John. From it we were reminded of the incredible cost of sin.

Reflections:

  1. What is your sin costing you?

  2. Are there any sins that you need to address and repent of that you've been hiding from?

  3. Make note of the assurance of salvation through Christ and how he has brought you into His way.
