The Greatest Journey
The Greatest Journey is a 12-lesson discipleship course designed for Operation Christmas Child shoebox recipients.
Children who participate in the program learn how to follow Christ and share Him with others. As they do, entire families and communities are transformed by the power of the Gospel, and churches are started.
Every $6 gift provides one more child with an opportunity to learn about God's love for them as they study the Bible and are taught by a trained local teacher. Upon completion of the course, they receive a graduation certificate and a New Testament in their own language.

How to Pack a Shoe Box
For children around the world, a shoebox is often their very first gift. Given together with the Good News of Jesus Christ, it communicates God’s love to a boy or girl in need. So, it is important to make sure your gift is …
FUN—includes a “wow” item and other quality toys
FULL—packed to the brim with additional school supplies and personal care items
PERSONALIZED—prayed over and contains a note and photo, which are often the child’s favorite items!
Do Not Include
Soap is no longer allowed in shoebox gifts because of the complications it causes in customs in some nations.
SOAP; candy; toothpaste; gum; used or damaged items; scary or war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; chocolate or food; seeds; fruit rolls or other fruit snacks; drink mixes (powdered or liquid); liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans.
Build a Shoebox Online
Join us in reaching 50 children this year with the Gospel of
Jesus Christ! We can participate in evangelism and discipleship
by packing a shoebox gift online for Operation Christmas Child.
For a donation of just $30, you can select the items you wish
to pack online and Samaritan’s Purse will pack it and send it
for you in Jesus’ Name. Be sure to share this opportunity with
others and let’s see what God will do
Last day to build a box online is November 9, 2025
For more information, please see the bulletin board in the Parish Hall.
Shoeboxes will be available in the back of the church and in the Parish Hall. All boxes will have Girls and boys gift suggestions sheets, a Let's Be Friends Sheet, What will I pack flyer, How to pack a shoebox flyer, Labels, and a Prayer card.
