Confident Endurance

Hebrews 10:32-39 is a timely reminder that we are to confidently endure. Many of us won't face the level of persecution that the first audience of the Epistle to Hebrews was facing, but the call is the same. Whether we face temporal persecution from the hands of those who hate us, or spiritual persecution from the enemy, we are called to endure because we know who our redeemer is.
Our confident endurance relies not on who we are, who we sit next to in Church, or anything else; it relies solely upon the one who has redeemed us. We can have confidence because of who Christ is, and this allows us to endure to the end and to live out our calling to do the will of God, which is to glorify him in everything.
Reflection questions:
What are some challenges you had to endure? Did you endure them in Christ? If you did, how did that change your outlook? If not, how would knowing Christ have changed your outlook?
What does it look like to live through hardships for the glory of God?
