Faith is the assurance of things hoped for.
Faith is the assurance of things hoped for.

This week, we started moving our way through Hebrews, Chapter 11, which is a great section reviewing how the ancients lived by faith, but the author first starts by defining faith. What the author is trying to convey is that faith is the unrealized reality of things hoped for

In other words, even though we do not see the eternal reality and sometimes don't know what God is doing, we believe and have faith that he is at work and one day he will return to usher us into the heavenly court.

We were reminded that this week, you will see some good and some bad things, but ultimately, your hope and trust is in the Lord. In other words, you are called to have faith in God even when you can't see what he is doing.
