Dear Saints,

I hope and pray that you all are having a great week. Sorry for the limited communication this month, between holidays, sickness, and a generally quiet period, there hasn't been a lot to report, but I wanted to give everyone some updates.

Tonight
Our vestry will meet tonight at the church at 5:30 pm. It should be a pretty quick meeting, but vestry members, please try to be here for it. Please pray for our vestry that we continue to work together for the good of the church and the glory of God.

Saturday - July 13
Our Men's and Women's Bible Study will meet at the church on Saturday at 9 am.

Sunday - July 14
9 am Christian Education
10 am Morning Prayer

The Next Two Weeks
For the next two weeks, the office will be closed, and there will be no Morning Prayer.

Next week I am traveling to Orlando, FL, for the DEUS synod. Please pray for the synod as they gather and prayerfully elect a bishop adjudicator for their diocese. This is a significant election as the DEUS is our largest diocese, and whoever is elected will take a significant leadership role in the future of our denomination.

Sunday, July 21 - Deacon Joe will be here to preach.

The week of July 22 - I am will be taking some time to rest and recover.

August
For some time, I have wanted to share with the church a vision of the direction we are going. My plan for August, and perhaps September is to start spelling this out for all of you during the Sunday service. Please try to make as many Sundays as possible so that we can be all on the same page and move forward with a unified vision to the glory of God.

I hope that everyone has a beautiful rest of the week, and as always, I look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

Blessings,
